Dr. Redden' s four point shoes have evolved from years of forging these shoes for a variety of foot problems. The aluminum four point is expertly milled from solid plate aircraft aluminum. The unique characteristics of this shoe provides breakover close to the widest point of the hoof while yet giving good coverage protection to the toe. The medial - lateral branch has reduced breakover and the crease is designed to accommodate straight, drilled nail holes as well as heavy pitch nails. Dr. Redden uses this basic concept shoe as a conservative mechanical aid for a variety of foot ailments. The shoe can be heated and rockered anywhere along the ground surface further increasing the breakover mechanics.
