This shoe is designed to greatly enhance the breakover of the hind feet of speed horses. Breakover is very close to the widest part of the foot, offering tremendous relief to crushed heels and steep coronary bands.

The #2 Hind Dan Race is available in two different styles. The original shoe is milled from 3/8 inch aluminum and is significantly lighter. The thicker version of this shoe is milled from 1/2 inch aluminum and features tabs for pulling clips.
