The Full Rocker Bar shoe features a special aluminum bar designed to give needed frog support. This shoe is useful for feet that exhibit crushed heels or have tubules that are folded well under the load zone of the heel.
The bar is located directly over the frog for support. When adequate space occurs between the bar and frog, the area should be filled with Advance Cushion Support or Vettec Pour Pad. This firm but resilient frog and buttress support system compliments stability of the entire heel which reduces pain and enhances healing.The goal is to keep the frog from falling through the heel when it is loaded.
The manufactured "rocker" on the ground surface of this shoe provides low-level mechanics. However, it allows the horse to self-adjust his palmar angle, which enhances the perfusion of the foot and sole growth.
To further enhance the mechanics of this shoe (increase the palmar angle), heat the shoe and rocker to gain the desired mechanics.
The ground surface is rockered with a moderate (C) radius.
