Reno-60 is no longer available and Isoview-300 is the new alternative.
A 50 mL bottle of radiopaque liquid (Iopamidol Injection USP 61%) for performing intravenous venograms. Dr. Redden uses 20 cc of Isoview 300 per foot, so he recommends having 2 bottles available. When performing a venogram on a septic foot Dr. Redden often puts 1cc of Amakacin in each syringe. Make sure and mix slowly and thoroughly before injecting. Below are examples of lateral medial and dorsal palmar venograms.
Each mL of Isovue-300 (lopamidol Injection 61%) provides 612 mg iopamidol with 1 mg tromethamine and 0.39 mg edetate calcium disodium. The solution contains approximately 0.043 mg (0.002 mEq) sodium and 300 mg organically bound iodine per mL.
